Description
Pumpkin is a wonderful base for draniki: juicy, fibrous, and flavorful. However, it's not quite ready to become a draniki on its own, so we've added two eggs and a little bit of wheat flour.
Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Parsley - 0.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2.6 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 2 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Sour Cream - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Peel the onion and chop it into small cubes.
Step 3
In a skillet, heat a little vegetable oil and sauté the onion until soft.
Step 4
Peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds, and grate it using a large grater.
Step 5
Chop the parsley.
Step 6
Add a little salt to the grated pumpkin, mix well, and then squeeze out the juice.
Step 7
Combine the pumpkin, sautéed onions, parsley, and crushed garlic.
Step 8
Add the eggs, flour, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
Step 9
In a clean frying pan, heat a little vegetable oil and spoon the potato pancakes onto it.
Step 10
Fry over low heat until golden brown on both sides. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough.
Step 11
Serve the pumpkin pancakes with sour cream.
