Description
Aromatic pumpkin pancakes are especially delicious with berry jam, preserves, honey, sour cream, or simply with orange juice.
Ingredients
- Apple - 1 piece
- Pumpkin - 4.9 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Milk - ½ cup
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Sugar - 3 tablespoons
- Light Raisins, Seedless - 1.8 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg - 0.3 teaspoon
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. Whisk the egg with sugar and salt. It's best to do this with a mixer.
Step 2
Continuing to whisk, gradually pour in the milk and sift in the flour. Add the baking powder (you can use baking soda) and spices.
Step 3
Grate the peeled pumpkin and a small apple on a fine grater. Rinse and dry the raisins.
Step 4
Mix the fruit mixture with the raisins and add it to the batter, stirring thoroughly. Optionally, add fiber (bran), flax seeds, seeds, nuts, or other favorite additions.
Step 5
Grease a frying pan with vegetable oil and heat well. Cook the pancakes in the usual way — on both sides, until done.
Step 6
Place the finished pancakes on a paper towel.
