Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 14.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Baking Powder - 0.2 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - ¼ spoons
- Sugar - 1.1 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Yogurt powder - to taste
- Maple syrup - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Peel the pumpkin and remove the seeds.
Step 3
Cut the pumpkin flesh into large pieces.
Step 4
Transfer the pumpkin to a saucepan, add water, and cook until tender for 20–30 minutes. Then, drain the water.
Step 5
Blend the pumpkin in a blender until smooth.
Step 6
Mix the puree with the egg, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
Step 7
At the very end, add half of the vegetable oil and mix once more.
Step 8
Preheat the waffle maker and grease it with vegetable oil.
Step 9
Cook the waffles for 4–5 minutes, until golden brown.
Step 10
Serve the pumpkin waffles with Greek yogurt and maple syrup.
