Description

You can use kefir instead of yogurt. Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to buy a <a href=http://eda.ru/recipe/11426/>ready-made pumpkin pie spice mix</a>, so we will have to make it ourselves.

Ingredients

  • Egg white - 3 pieces
  • Chestnut puree - 16 fl oz
  • Maple syrup - 6 fl oz
  • Natural Yogurt - 8 fl oz
  • Dark rum - 1 fl oz
  • Pumpkin pie spices - 0.2 oz
  • Vanilla salt - 0.1 oz
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Shortcrust Cake Mix - 17.6 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 428°F.

Step 2

Place the pastry in a round baking dish, spread it evenly, prick it in several places with a fork, place a sheet of parchment paper on top, and add beans to prevent the pastry from rising during baking. Bake for about 10 minutes until light golden brown. Remove the paper and beans.

Step 3

In a bowl, beat the eggs with a mixer, then add the yogurt, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, rum, spices, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Beat well again.

Step 4

Pour the filling onto the baked crust and bake at 428°F for about 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 356°F and bake for another 50-60 minutes until the filling is set.
