Description
Quiche with cheese, onions, and tomatoes
Ingredients
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1½ glasses
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- 20% Sour Cream - 15.9 oz
- Cheese Spread - 7.1 oz
- Tomatoes - 4 pieces
- Dried Rosemary - to taste
- Onion - 2 heads
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the room-temperature butter, then sift the flour through a sieve, gradually mixing it with the butter. Add 100 grams of sour cream and the baking powder. Knead the dough. You may need to add more flour—add it until the dough no longer sticks to your hands.
Step 2
Slice the onion into half-rings and sauté it in vegetable oil (olive or sunflower oil, if desired). Once the onion turns translucent and creamy, turn off the heat. Add the oregano and the tomatoes, previously diced into small cubes. Mix well.
Step 3
Cut the cheese into cubes. I used four types of cheese - cheddar, Russian cheese, Dutch cheese, and firm processed cheese in blocks.
Step 4
In the remaining sour cream, beat in 4 eggs, add oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Roll out the dough and place it in the pan, shaping the edges. I used a pan with a diameter of 36 cm.
Step 6
Place the onions and tomatoes on the dough, then spread the cheese cubes on top and pour everything with a mixture of sour cream and eggs.
Step 7
Place the dish in the preheated oven at 392°F. Bake for 60 minutes.
