Quick Biscuit Cake with Sour Cream Frosting

Ingredients

  • Sugar - 14.1 oz
  • Sour Cream - 24.7 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs - 6 pieces
  • Condensed Milk - 1 can
  • Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
  • Baking Powder - a pinch
  • Mayonnaise - 8.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Mix sugar with eggs.

Step 2

Add mayonnaise and mix.

Step 3

Add condensed milk and mix.

Step 4

Add baking powder and flour, knead into a not very thick dough.

Step 5

In a greased baking pan, spread the dough to a height of 1 cm (I used a 26 cm diameter pan). Place in a preheated oven at 356°F and bake for 20–25 minutes. Bake 3–4 layers.

Step 6

Prepare the frosting: whip sour cream with sugar.

Step 7

Cut the baked layers horizontally.

Step 8

Soak each layer well with frosting.

Step 9

Decorate the finished cake to taste. I covered the cake with sour cream frosting, sprinkled it with grated chocolate, and decorated it with canned cherries, mint leaves, and chocolate decorations. To make the decorations, melt chocolate, transfer it to a piping bag, and draw shapes on baking paper. Place them in the freezer for 10–15 minutes (with the paper). Then transfer them onto the cake.
