Quick Cheese Frosting with Nuts
Ingredients
- Ricotta cheese - 8.1 oz
- Vanilla salt - 1½ teaspoons
- Mini Chocolate Chips - 12 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 6 cups
- Liquid dark chocolate - 1.1 oz
- Butter - 2 teaspoons
- Chopped almonds - ¾ cup
- Roasted Peanuts - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a large bowl, beat the ricotta, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
Step 2
Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Add it to the cheese mixture along with the pecans.
Step 3
Meanwhile, grease a 20x20 cm square pan with butter. Pour the cheese-chocolate mixture into it and smooth it out. Chill.
Step 4
In the meantime, melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler with the butter. Spread the chocolate evenly over the cheese mixture. Top with halved pecans.
Step 5
Chill and cut into squares.
