Quick Cottage Cheese Pie
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 6 pieces
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 21.2 oz
- 20% Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Starch film - 3 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour - ½ cup
- Salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the filling, mix the cottage cheese with the yolks of 4 eggs, sour cream, and starch until smooth. You can add vanilla.
Step 2
Then, beat the egg whites from 4 eggs into a thick foam and continue to beat while adding sugar. Beat until it forms stiff peaks.
Step 3
After that, gently fold the egg whites into the cottage cheese mixture.
Step 4
When the filling is ready, take 2 eggs and beat them well with sugar, then add ½ cup of flour, salt, and baking soda.
Step 5
Next, mix all these ingredients and pour them into a baking dish greased with vegetable oil in an even layer.
Step 6
On top of this layer, carefully place the cottage cheese mixture in small portions.
Step 7
Bake in the oven at 200–428°F for 40–60 minutes (check for doneness).
Step 8
You can decorate with fruits, berries, or chocolate if desired. However, if you are decorating with chocolate, do it when the cake has cooled.
