Description
A speedy recipe that regularly saves the sanity of many moms who need to quickly feed their husbands and children. It couldn't be simpler: canned fish, potatoes, and a kefir dough that takes exactly three minutes to prepare. However, if you have the time, there's nothing stopping you from adding a touch of elegance to the pie: for instance, use tuna instead of sardines, add mustard and lemon juice to the filling, or incorporate celery puree and green peas. Work with what you have in the fridge.
Ingredients
- Kefir - 1 glass
- Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 2 glasses
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 tablespoon
- Canned tuna in its own juice - 2 cans
- Onion - 1 head
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add mayonnaise to the kefir. Whisk the eggs separately until well beaten and then pour them into the mixture, adding flour. The batter should have the consistency of thick sour cream. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then add the baking soda. Flake the pink salmon with a fork and sauté it with onions in a pan for 5–7 minutes.
Step 2
Pour 2/3 of the batter into a baking dish lined with foil and greased with vegetable oil. Carefully spread the mixture of salmon and onion over the batter. Pour the remaining batter on top, ensuring it covers the fish.
Step 3
Bake in the oven for 45–60 minutes at 392°F.
