Quick Mint Ice Cream with Chocolate Chips
Ingredients
- 3.2% Milk - 16 fl oz
- Cream (40%) - 16 fl oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Mini Chocolate Chips - 5.3 oz
- Red Food Coloring - to taste
- Mint Leaves - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a large bowl, mix together the milk, cream, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and mint extract. Stir until the sugar dissolves. If desired, tint with a few drops of green food coloring.
Step 2
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze. About 10 minutes before it's ready, fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 3
Then transfer the mixture to a container and freeze for about 2 hours.
