Ingredients
- Oranges - 1 piece
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Vanilla salt - 2 teaspoons
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the zest from the orange (using a special knife or a grater).
Step 2
Squeeze the juice from the orange (should yield about 50–70 ml).
Step 3
Cream the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar.
Step 4
Add the eggs and mix well.
Step 5
Add the orange juice and zest, and mix again.
Step 6
Add the flour and baking powder, and knead into a soft dough.
Step 7
Place the dough into greased molds (fill the molds 2/3 full).
Step 8
Put in a preheated oven at 356°F.
Step 9
Bake for 20–25 minutes.
