Ingredients
- Whole egg - 6 pieces
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Corn Starch - 2 tablespoons
- Milk - 2 cups
- Vanilla extract - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with sugar until light in color. Stir in the flour and cornstarch.
Step 2
In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil and gradually whisk it into the egg mixture.
Step 3
Return the mixture to low heat and, stirring, bring to a boil, then cook for 4–5 minutes until the cream thickens. Stir in the vanilla.
Step 4
Strain the cream through a sieve and cool.
