Ingredients

  • Quince - 4 pieces
  • Sugar - 5.3 oz
  • Lemon - 2 pieces
  • Oranges - 2 pieces
  • Cardamom - 7 pieces

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Peel the quince and cut it into quarters.

Step 2

In one and a half liters of water, add chopped lemons and oranges, sugar, and cardamom pods. Place in a large saucepan over heat, bring to a boil, and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the quince to the saucepan and simmer in the syrup over low heat. Serve hot, or even better, chilled, infused with vibrant citrus notes and the aroma of cardamom.
