- Quince - 70.5 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the quince, remove the core, and cut each into 8 pieces.
Step 2
Transfer the quince to a pot, add sugar and 720 ml of water. Bring to a boil and cook for about 20 minutes until the quince starts to soften. Then reduce the heat and cook for another 1 to 1.5 hours until very soft and thickened.
Step 3
Strain through a sieve into a bowl, pressing to extract the juice. Cool.
