Description
In addition to the cream between the layers, you can add fruits or berries. If you want to balance the sweetness, it's better to use sour berries like currants or sprinkle the layers with pomegranate seeds.

- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 6 pieces
- Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons
- Wheat Flour - 15 oz
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Milk - 3 fl oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 5.3 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Red Food Coloring - 0 oz
- Granulated sugar - 7.4 oz
- Fondant - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the butter with the granulated sugar until creamy.
Step 2
Add the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add half of the sifted flour mixed with baking powder and knead. Add the milk and knead. Add the remaining flour and knead the dough.
Step 3
Divide the dough into equal parts, coloring each one a different color. If using 17 cm diameter pans, you will get five layers. Place in a preheated oven at 356°F. Bake for 12–15 minutes. Let cool.
Step 4
Combine the butter and cream cheese, beating while gradually adding the powdered sugar until a smooth cream is formed.
Step 5
Spread the cream on the layers, as well as on the sides and top.
Step 6
Roll out the fondant, making it as round as possible. Place it on the cake, smooth it out, and trim the excess. You can decorate it with anything you like.
