Raisin and Applesauce Muffins
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Ground Oats - ½ cup
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg - ¼ teaspoon
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Safflower Oil - ½ cup
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Applesauce - 1 cup
- Raisins - 3 oz
- Chopped almonds - 2.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 374°F.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar. In a separate bowl, mix the oil, egg, and applesauce using a mixer. Combine the egg-applesauce mixture with the flour mixture. Mix well. Add the raisins and walnuts. Mix again thoroughly.
Step 3
Grease the muffin tins with butter. Fill the molds. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Bon Appetit!!!
