Raspberry and currant pie
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 2½ glasses
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Margarine - 7.1 oz
- Vinegar essence - ½ spoons
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ spoons
- Frozen black currant puree - 14.1 oz
- Potato protein - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1½ glasses
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Separate the egg white from the yolk.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix a pack of room temperature margarine, 2.5 cups of flour, and 3 egg yolks. Add baking soda that has been dissolved in vinegar. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic. Set aside 1/3 of the dough in the refrigerator.
Step 3
If using frozen berries, rinse them and let the excess water drain. Add 0.5 cup of sugar and mix well.
Step 4
Grease the baking dish with butter. Press the dough into the dish, forming edges.
Step 5
Beat 3 egg whites and 1 cup of sugar.
Step 6
Place the berries in a dish and lightly dust them with cornstarch using a sieve.
Step 7
Pour the berries with the protein cream.
Step 8
Grate the leftover dough using a coarse grater and sprinkle it over the pie.
Step 9
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 40 minutes.
