Raw Vegan Candies with Dried Apricots

Ingredients

  • Dried Apricots - 2.8 oz
  • Oats - 1 cup
  • Coconut flakes - 1.8 oz
  • Banana - 1 piece
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cut the dried apricots into 2-3 pieces to make it easier to blend in the blender.

Step 2

Slice the banana into large rings.

Step 3

Pour the oats into the blender bowl. Grind them for 5-10 seconds so that some of the oats are crushed, but some retain their shape.

Step 4

Add the banana, dried apricots, vanilla, and coconut flakes. Honey or other sweeteners are not needed yet, as the sweetness of the banana and coconut may be enough.

Step 5

Blend until the dried fruits and banana combine into a homogeneous mass. It doesn't matter if the oats are fully ground, as the candies should have some texture.

Step 6

The raw vegan 'dough' is ready. You can roll it into balls (about 12 pieces) and place them in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
