- Milk - ¼ cup
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Rhubarb - 28.2 oz
- Vegetable Oil - ¼ cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix rhubarb, sugar, ¼ teaspoon of salt, lemon juice, and almond extract.
Step 2
In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda. Add margarine and oil and knead the dough using a pastry cutter. Beat the egg with milk and pour it into the dough. Mix with a fork.
Step 3
In a greased baking dish, layer the rhubarb, crumble the dough on top, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
