Rice Porridge with Birch Juice

Ingredients

  • Boiled White Round Rice - 7.1 oz
  • Birch sap - 12 fl oz
  • Carrot - 1 piece
  • Hazelnut - 1.8 oz
  • Honey - to taste
  • Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sugar - 0.5 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 284°F.

Step 2

Cut the carrot into cubes about 1 cm on each side, drizzle with vegetable oil, sprinkle with sugar, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 3

Rinse the rice and place it in a pot.

Step 4

Pour birch juice over the rice.

Step 5

Cover the pot with foil, and place the pot with rice and the baking sheet with carrots in the oven for 30 minutes. Wait for the porridge to steam.

Step 6

Chop the hazelnuts coarsely.

Step 7

Add a little salt to the cooked porridge to taste.

Step 8

Stir in the roasted carrots and nuts.

If desired, add honey, but the sweetness of the juice may be sufficient.
