Ingredients

  • Margarine - 4.4 oz
  • Brown Sugar - ¾ cup
  • Salt - to taste
  • Cinnamon - ¼ teaspoon
  • Buttermilk - 0 fl oz
  • Ground clove - a pinch
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
  • Ground Oats - ¾ cup
  • Walnuts - 2.3 oz
  • Dates - 3.4 oz
  • Raisins - 3.4 oz
  • Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Beat the softened margarine with sugar, salt, baking soda, and spices until creamy. Add buttermilk and egg to the mixture.

Step 2

Chop the walnuts and dates. Combine with the previously prepared mixture. Add raisins. Mix in the flour. Knead the dough.

Step 3

Grind the oats. Add to the dough.

Step 4

Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a greased baking sheet.

Step 5

Bake for 12-15 minutes in a preheated oven at 190°C.
