Rolls with Raisins and Cinnamon
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Milk - ½ cup
- Dry yeast - 1½ teaspoons
- Raisins - 2.5 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - 2 teaspoons
- Ground Nutmeg - to taste
- Wheat Flour - 2½ cups
- Brown Sugar - ¼ cup
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Vanillin - 0.1 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, combine 1 beaten egg, milk, powdered sugar, vanillin, and melted butter. Mix well.
Step 2
In a deep bowl, mix flour and yeast. Pour in the milk-egg mixture and knead a soft dough. Place it in a warm place for 20–30 minutes.
Step 3
Roll out the dough into a rectangle approximately 20x30 cm and 1–1.5 cm thick. Spread the remaining butter on top, sprinkle with cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins, and nutmeg. Roll the dough into a log, starting from the long side.
Step 4
Cut the log into several pieces, dipping the knife in hot water. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and bake until ready. Serve hot. You can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
