- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 6 fl oz
- Ground coriander - 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric - ½ spoons
- Toasted Cumin Seeds - 2 spoons
- Ghee - 3.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the flour with the ground turmeric and coriander, add cumin, salt, pour in the oil and water. Knead the dough for 10 minutes, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Divide the dough into 16 pieces, and roll each piece into a flat round about 16 cm in diameter.
Step 3
In a preheated skillet, add 1 teaspoon of ghee, spreading it evenly across the pan. Then place the flatbread in the skillet and fry one side for 1 minute, followed by the other side.
