Ingredients
- Butter - 8.8 oz
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
- Cottage cheese - 17.6 oz
- Chicken Eggs - 4 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix one pack of butter, half a cup of sugar, one and a half cups of flour, half a teaspoon of salt, and baking soda thoroughly (it's better to mix when the butter is slightly softened). It's best to mix in a bowl or pot.
Step 2
After mixing the dough, divide it into two parts, place them in bags, and put them in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. While the dough is freezing, prepare the cottage cheese.
Step 3
Mix two packs of cottage cheese, half a cup of sugar, and 4 eggs until smooth. The cottage cheese mixture is ready.
Step 4
After 15-20 minutes, take out the first part of the dough and grate it on a coarse grater into a baking dish (it's better to use a deep baking dish, and you can grease it with a piece of butter just in case).
Step 5
Evenly distribute the grated dough over the baking dish and pour the cottage cheese mixture on top.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 356°F, and we will bake at this temperature. (You can turn on the oven later, but let it warm up a bit at a higher temperature.)
Step 7
Immediately take the second part of the dough out of the freezer and grate it on a coarse grater, carefully distributing it over the surface of the cottage cheese mixture.
Step 8
As soon as the cottage cheese mixture is covered with the second layer of dough, place it in the oven for 30-40 minutes. Sometimes baking takes a little longer or shorter — it depends on your oven. So it's best to check on it after 20 minutes; nothing will happen to the cheesecake in those 20 minutes.
