I also found an interesting addition to the filling online — 200 grams of canned apricots and 2–3 tablespoons of poppy seeds (first soak in boiling water for 1 minute and drain) — it turns out very delicious!
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cottage cheese - 10.6 oz
- 20% Sour Cream - 5 tablespoons
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rub the butter with 100 grams of sugar. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Combine both mixtures and rub until crumbly.
Step 2
Prepare the filling. Mash the cottage cheese, add the sour cream, egg yolks, and mix. Whip the egg whites with sugar until thick foam forms (you can add a pinch of salt to help it whip faster). Fold them into the cottage cheese mixture and mix.
Step 3
Spread 2/3 of the dough on a greased baking sheet, evenly layer the filling on top. Sprinkle with the remaining dough.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 30 minutes.
