Rustic Potato Dough Pie with Meat and Vegetables
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 5.3 oz
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 2.8 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Onion - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 3 pieces
- Ground meat - 14.1 oz
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Paprika - ½ teaspoon
- Cheese Spread - 4.2 oz
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the potatoes until tender.
Step 2
Sauté the onion and bell pepper in oil for a few minutes until the onion is golden. Transfer them to a plate.
Step 3
In the same oil, sauté the ground meat until partially cooked. Then add the reserved vegetables, season with salt and pepper, and add paprika.
Step 4
Drain the water from the potatoes and mash them into a puree. Add the butter, flour, and salt, and knead the dough. It will be very soft and warm! If necessary, you can add more flour to prevent sticking while rolling out.
Step 5
Roll out the dough and transfer it to a greased springform pan (24 cm).
Step 6
Spread the filling over the dough. Top with slices of tomatoes and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 40 minutes at 356°F.
