  • Saffron - a pinch
  • Dry White Wine - 17 fl oz
  • Cardamom - 1 tablespoon
  • Wheat Flour - 12.3 oz
  • Butter - 10.6 oz
  • Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
  • Pistachios - 1.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Combine the wine with sugar and heat it until boiling. Remove from heat and stir in saffron and ground cardamom.

Step 2

In a skillet over low heat, toast the flour in a mixture of oils, stirring constantly, until the flour turns golden brown. Combine the syrup with the flour and ground pistachios, using a spatula to mix until it forms a fragrant paste.

Step 3
