Salmon Fish Pie

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 35.3 oz
  • Margarine - 1.8 oz
  • Sugar - 3.5 oz
  • Salt - 1.30 teaspoons
  • Dry yeast - 1.8 oz
  • Long-Grain Rice - 2.5 oz
  • Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Milk - 17 fl oz
  • Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
  • Smoked haddock fillet - 1 piece

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Crush the yeast, pour in a small amount of warm milk, add a tablespoon of sugar and a little salt, mix and leave in a warm place.

Step 2

Warm the milk and mix it with the risen yeast, add melted margarine, granulated sugar, salt, egg, and mix everything thoroughly.

Step 3

Gradually add sifted flour to the mixture and knead the dough. You may need a little more or a little less flour.

Step 4

Leave the kneaded dough in a warm place to rise for about 1 hour.

Step 5

Once, punch down the dough, and after the second rise, it is ready for baking.

Step 6

Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a pan with sunflower oil until golden brown.

Step 7

Finely chop the fish fillet and fry it together with the onion for 10 minutes.

Step 8

Cook the rice, mix it with the fish.

Step 9

Add salt, pepper, and seasoning to taste.

Step 10

Boil the eggs, chop them, and add to the filling (you can skip the eggs if desired).

Step 11

Divide the dough into several pieces and roll out into sheets.

Step 12

Form the pie and, to your taste, better directly on the baking sheet.

Step 13

Brush with beaten egg and bake until golden at 356°F for 15–20 minutes.
