Description
Salmon Kulebyaka
Ingredients
- Water - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Dry yeast - 0.4 oz
- Salt - 2 teaspoons
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salmon - 14.1 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a glass of warm boiled water, add the yeast and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes until a foam forms. Then add salt, vegetable oil, and sifted flour to the water, kneading a soft dough. Cover the bowl with a damp warm towel and let it rise in a warm place for half an hour.
Step 2
Meanwhile, chop the fish and sauté the onions.
Step 3
The dough has risen, divide it into about 10 equal pieces. Shape the dough into small discs, place pieces of fish on top, add a spoonful of onion rings, and form the kulebyakas.
Step 4
Place the products on a baking sheet, let them rise, and preheat the oven to 374°F.
Step 5
When the oven is heated and the kulebyakas have risen, bake them for about 15–20 minutes. Brush the hot kulebyakas with butter.
