Description
This recipe uses ready-made puff pastry without yeast, and we also prepare the filling in advance, which speeds up the pie-making process. You can use any type of dough, not necessarily puff pastry. You can make it yourself if you prefer. The filling can also be modified or supplemented with other ingredients. Enjoy your meal!
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 2 pieces
- Napa Cabbage - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Seasoning - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Dried Garlic - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Puff Pastry - 1 piece
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Toasted Sesame - 1 tablespoon
- Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients and spices.
Step 2
Thaw the dough at room temperature.
Step 3
Cut the chicken into small thin strips.
Step 4
Pour vegetable oil into a cold skillet and add the chicken.
Step 5
Add garlic and chicken seasoning.
Step 6
Mix everything by hand in the skillet (to coat each piece with spices).
Step 7
Add salt and turn on the heat to fry the chicken for about 5–7 minutes.
Step 8
Shred the Napa cabbage into thin rings.
Step 9
Massage it by hand.
Step 10
Add it to the cooking chicken.
Step 11
Mix everything and simmer covered for 3–5 minutes.

Crack the eggs into the chicken and cabbage mixture.

Quickly stir and leave covered off the heat.

Place the dough on a baking sheet (preferably on parchment paper, a silicone mat, or baking paper) and stretch it by hand.

Spread the filling evenly in the center of the stretched dough, leaving edges for folding.

Fold the edges of the dough.

Crack an egg into a bowl and beat it.
Step 18
Pour the egg over the pie and brush it over the entire surface (this will give the pie an appetizing crust).

Sprinkle the resulting envelope with sesame seeds on top.

Bake at 356°F for about 35 minutes (until the dough is cooked, as the filling was prepared in advance).

When the dough is ready (bake until golden brown), remove the pie, let it cool, and cut into portions with a sharp knife.
