Description

Ingredients
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Milk - 6 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 4.2 oz
- Butter - 1.6 oz
- Salt - 0.1 oz
- Tarragon - 0.5 oz
- Fresh basil leaves - 0.5 oz
- Fresh basil leaves - 0.5 oz
- Thyme - 0.5 oz
- Water - 4 fl oz
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the herb leaves (only the leaves, do not use the stems) with a knife and mix in a dry bowl. Dried herbs can also be used, but then the batter will need to steep for at least one hour and up to a day in the refrigerator to soften the herbs.
Step 2
In a blender, combine the eggs, milk, water, flour, butter, and salt. Blend for about 10 seconds until smooth. Add the finely chopped herbs, mix, cover with plastic wrap, and let it sit for half an hour, or better yet, for a few hours to allow the batter to absorb the herb flavors.
Step 3
Cook the crepes as usual in a hot skillet with vegetable oil.
