Ingredients
- Yeast Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
- Mozzarella Cheese - 14.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Egg yolks - 2 pieces
- Sour Cream (35%) - 4.2 oz
- Fresh Basil - 2.6 oz
- Sun-Dried Tomatoes in Oil - 5 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Ground Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the filling - crush the garlic, finely chop the tomatoes, herbs, and cheese, add half of the sour cream and mix.
Step 2
Beat the egg and add it to the filling. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3-5 mm, place the filling on top. Roll into a tight log.
Step 4
Cut the log crosswise into pieces 4-5 cm thick, place them loosely in a greased baking dish (filling side up) with butter.
Step 5
Beat the yolks with the remaining sour cream, season with salt and add paprika. Brush the pie with this mixture.
Step 6
Bake at 170°C for 40 minutes.
