Description

It's better to use a non-stick skillet to avoid adding oil, as the dish is quite hearty and doesn't need extra fat. Instead of Brussels sprouts, you can add broccoli or cauliflower.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
  • Ham - 3 slices
  • Marinated cherries - 5 pieces
  • Brussels Sprouts - 5 pieces
  • Cheese Spread - 4 slices
  • Fresh basil leaves - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Heat the skillet, but not too high to prevent burning.

Step 2

Cut the Brussels sprouts in half or into quarters.

Step 3

Place thin slices of ham (whole or cut, as preferred) and the chopped sprouts in the skillet.

Step 4

Crack the eggs into the skillet.

Step 5

When the eggs start to whiten, add the halved cherry tomatoes and begin to stir everything in the skillet with a spatula.

Step 6

Add the sliced cheese and continue to stir.

Step 7

Serve the scrambled eggs on a plate, garnished with dried herbs. Add salt and pepper to taste.
