Description
Unlike other fruit and berry juices, sea buckthorn juice does not foam. Another distinctive feature of this berry is that its fruits contain a large amount of oil, which may separate from the main mass of the jelly over time. This does not affect the taste quality at all.
Ingredients
- Sea Buckthorn - 17 fl oz
- Pectin - 1.1 oz
- Sugar - 3 lbs
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the sea buckthorn juice into a pot, add the pectin, and bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
Step 2
Add sugar and bring the mixture to a boil once more.
Step 3
Pour into canning jars and hold in a water bath for another ten minutes.
Step 4
Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Step 5
Store the finished jelly in the refrigerator.
