Description
Keep in mind that sea buckthorn ferments very quickly, so it's best not to store this dessert in the refrigerator for too long.
Ingredients
- Buckwheat Groats - 1 cup
- Sea Buckthorn - ½ cup
- Apricot Urbech - 2 cups
- Coconut Milk - 1 tablespoon
- Orange Candies - 1 piece
- Pistachios - 1.4 oz
- Date honey - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the green buckwheat overnight in water. In the morning, drain the water.
Step 2
Blend it in a blender (the finer it grinds, the better) together with a handful of thawed sea buckthorn, 2 tablespoons of apricot urbech, and coconut oil.
Step 3
Divide into 2 serving containers. These can simply be glass jars. They should be wide enough and not too deep.
Step 4
Smooth it out and top with chopped flesh of the red orange (removing the seeds); you can substitute with regular oranges or mandarins, and sprinkle with chopped green pistachios. Add a spoonful of honey to each jar, and it’s ready to eat.
Step 5
Keep in mind that sea buckthorn ferments very quickly, so it's best not to store this dessert in the refrigerator for too long.
