Ingredients
- Kefir - 8 fl oz
- Semolina - 8 fl oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Safflower Oil - 4 fl oz
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Chopped almonds - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the semolina with kefir and let it sit for at least 1 hour.
Step 2
Beat the egg into the semolina and kefir mixture, add the oil, baking soda, and sugar. The batter should be thick.
Step 3
Bake in the oven in a square pan until golden brown at a temperature of 180–392°F. Check readiness with a toothpick. 7-10 minutes before the cake is done, sprinkle with almond flakes and let them brown, then cut the finished cake into square pieces.
