Ingredients
- Semolina - 7.1 oz
- Kefir - 7 fl oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Baking Powder - 1½ teaspoons
- Salt - 0 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, pour in the semolina, add the kefir, mix well, and let it swell for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Step 2
In another bowl, mash the butter with a fork. Add the sugar and mix the butter with the sugar. Add 1–2 eggs to the butter mixture and mix well. Add a pinch of salt, then add the baking powder. Mix everything well.
Step 3
Combine the swollen semolina with the butter and egg mixture and mix the batter well.
Step 4
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
Step 5
Bake the semolina cake for about 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 356°F. Cut the finished cake into portioned pieces. When serving, the cake can be drizzled with jam, syrup, condensed milk, sour cream, etc.
