Semolina Muffins with Jam
Ingredients
- Semolina - 5.3 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Margarine - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Kefir - 1 fl oz
- Vanillin - a pinch
- Wheat Flour - 2.5 oz
- Pear Jam - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour kefir over the semolina and mix (let it sit for about 10–15 minutes).
Step 2
Melt the margarine over low heat until fully melted. Pour it into the semolina. Mix well.
Step 3
Add vanillin. Mix well.
Step 4
Add the eggs and sugar, stir, then add the flour and mix until you achieve a homogeneous consistency.
Step 5
Take silicone muffin molds (I have one with 6 cups), place paper liners in them and start filling: two tablespoons of the mixture, jam, two more tablespoons. The muffin is ready!
Step 6
Place in a preheated oven at 356°F for 15–20 minutes.
Step 7
When done, take them out. Arrange on a tray (I have a special wooden one). Decorate with jam on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar (through a sieve).
