Semolina porridge with strawberries and rose water
Ingredients
- Semolina - 2.8 oz
- 3.2% Milk - 9 fl oz
- Linden Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Rose water - 1 tablespoon
- Strawberry - 0.7 oz
- Unsalted peanuts, shelled - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the milk and honey in a saucepan, place over medium heat, and bring to a boil. Gradually add the semolina while stirring constantly. Cook the porridge over medium heat until thickened, stirring continuously. Remove the porridge from heat, stir in 1 tablespoon of rose water, cover the saucepan with a lid, and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Remove the stems from the strawberries. Slice them into thin pieces.
Step 3
Serve the porridge, garnished with strawberry slices and pistachios on top. Optionally drizzle with lavender honey.
