- Wheat Flour - 2 lbs
- Milk - 1½ cups
- Whole egg - 5 pieces
- Sugar - 1½ cups
- Butter - 10.6 oz
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Sour Cream - 1 tablespoon
- Dry yeast - 1.4 oz

Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add half of the flour and let it rise. When the mixture has doubled in volume, add salt and the egg yolks, which have been beaten with sugar, mix well, add the remaining flour, and knead the dough. Then add melted butter or margarine, kneading until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
Step 2
After that, let the dough rise, lightly sprinkle it with flour, cover it, and place it in a warm place to rise; when it has doubled in volume, transfer it to a board and shape it into small buns, placing them on a lightly greased baking sheet, and allow them to rise in a warm place. For brushing the buns, mix one tablespoon of sour cream with the same amount of flour and one tablespoon of melted butter; use this mixture to brush the surface of the buns, sprinkle with sugar, and bake in the oven for 12–15 minutes.
