Description
This recipe yields 30 cookies. If you don't need so many sweets at once, shape the dough into cookies and freeze them. Then just pop them into a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes.
Ingredients
- Butter - 8.8 oz
- Sugar - 4.9 oz
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Hazelnut - 1.8 oz
- Dried Turkey - 10.6 oz
- Mandarin Puree - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the dried fruits (any kind — prunes, apricots, raisins) and hazelnuts in a blender; you can add a spoonful of honey. Separately, grate the zest of the mandarin.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 3
Beat the softened butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 4
Add the yolk and zest to the whipped butter.
Step 5
Add the sifted flour and most of the fruit-nut mixture. Mix thoroughly until a dough forms.
Step 6
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Shape the dough into small cookies. Place a little of the remaining fruit-nut mixture on each cookie.
Step 7
Bake for 10–15 minutes until golden brown — the centers of the cookies should remain slightly soft.
