Shortbread cookies filled with jam.
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Sugar - ½ glasses
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ spoons
- Margarine - 7.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 glasses
- Jam - to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add the eggs, sugar, baking soda, lemon juice, and flour to the creamed margarine.
Step 2
Knead the dough. Place 1/3 of it in the freezer.
Step 3
Roll out the remaining dough on a floured baking sheet.
Step 4
Cover with jam, preferably not too runny, like raspberry jam. Bake in an oven preheated to 356°F for 15–20 minutes.
Step 5
When the cake layer is almost ready, grate the remaining dough. Place it back in the oven for another 5-10 minutes.
Step 6
Cut into squares or diamonds.
