Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 23.3 oz
- Sugar - 8.8 oz
- Butter - 6 oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 fl oz
- Plums - 2 lbs
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Chill the butter in the freezer beforehand. Preheat the oven to 356°F.

Let it cool completely and cut into individual pastries.
Step 2
In a food processor, place the butter, add 200 grams of sugar, 600 grams of flour, eggs, baking powder, and salt.
Step 3
Turn on the mixer and blend until the mixture resembles crumbs. Store it in the refrigerator while the filling is being prepared.
Step 4
Cut the plums in half and remove the pits.
Step 5
Dice the plums into small cubes.
Step 6
Mix the plums with sugar, lemon juice, and the remaining flour.
Step 7
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread half of the prepared crumb mixture on it.
Step 8
Spread the plum filling over the crumbs.
Step 9
Sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top and bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
