Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
  • Wheat Flour - 3 glasses
  • Margarine - 7.1 oz
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Vanillin - a pinch
  • Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Jam - 7.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Melt the margarine or butter in a water bath. Allow it to cool. Preheat the oven to 392°F. In a bowl, combine the sugar, pour in the melted butter, add vanilla, crack in the eggs, and mix everything thoroughly.

Step 2

Mix the wheat flour with the baking powder and gradually incorporate it into the mixture in the bowl. Knead a firm dough and divide it into two uneven parts. Place the smaller portion in the freezer for an hour.

Step 3

Now, spread the second part evenly on the baking sheet and add a layer of jam on top. Smooth it out gently with a spoon. After that, take the second part of the dough out of the freezer and grate it coarsely over the jam. Place the baking sheet in the oven for 20 minutes. Once the time is up, remove the shortcrust pie from the oven and serve it warm.
