Ingredients

  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Egg white - 2 pieces
  • Sour Cream - 5.3 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 2 cups
  • Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Cottage cheese - 12.3 oz
  • Sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Semolina - 2 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Make the dough. For this, add salt, baking powder, sour cream, butter, egg, and sugar to the flour. Knead the dough and let it rest on the table for 20 minutes.

Step 2

For the filling, mix cottage cheese, egg white (whipped with 2 tablespoons of sugar), and semolina.

Step 3

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3 mm and cut out circles with a diameter of 10 cm. Place cottage cheese on one half, cover with the other half, and seal the edges.

Step 4

Place on a greased baking sheet, brush with egg yolk (you can add a tablespoon of cold water to the yolk), and bake for 15–20 minutes at 392°F.
