Description
Do not overcrowd the pan with mushrooms; they need space to allow the juices they release while cooking to evaporate.
Ingredients
- Aspen mushrooms - 7.1 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Thyme - ½ bunch
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Water - 2 fl oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 0 fl oz
- Toasts - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the mushrooms — clean and cut them into quarters. Finely chop the garlic and thyme. Place everything in the pan, adding a little olive oil. Season with pepper and salt, and optionally add some chili pepper.
Step 2
When the mushrooms are almost ready, add the butter to the pan. Then squeeze in 12 drops of lemon juice, no more. Add a little water.
Step 3
Place the mushrooms along with the sauce on the toast.
