Simple Peach Pie
Ingredients
- Honey Cakes - 2 pieces
- Peaches - 5 pieces
- Sugar - 8.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1.4 oz
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220 °C (428 °F).
Step 2
Mix the flour, 200 g of sugar, and cinnamon, and set aside.
Step 3
Wash, peel, and cut the fresh peaches into pieces.
Step 4
Add the peaches to the mixture of dry ingredients. Spread the dough in a greased baking dish, top with peaches, and then add pieces of butter.
Step 5
Cover with the cake, make cuts on top of the cake, and roll the edges.
Step 6
Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar on top.
Step 7
Cover the edges with foil to prevent burning; remove the foil during the last 15 minutes of baking.
Step 8
Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the top is brown and the juice starts bubbling through the cuts in the crust.
Step 9
The pie can be frozen.
