Ingredients
- Butter - 7.8 oz
- Sugar - 6.3 oz
- Vanilla salt - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Baking Powder - 2 spoons
- Salt - ¼ spoons
- Wheat Flour - 11.6 oz
- Cherry - 14.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the softened butter with the sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, incorporating the vanilla sugar.
Step 2
Sift the flour with the baking powder and salt, gradually add it to the butter mixture, and knead until you have a smooth dough.
Step 3
Grease a rectangular baking tray with oil and line it with parchment paper. Spread the dough evenly in the tray. Top it with berries, cutting large ones in half.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 40–45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 5
Cool in the mold for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and let it cool completely. Cut into squares and, if desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
