Description
It takes almost 3 cups of flour for the dough (apparently, it depends on the quality of the flour). Very quick and very tasty. I ended up with 10 sochnis of quite a large size, so if you need more, double the ingredient portions.
Ingredients
- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 4 tablespoons
- Margarine - 3.5 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
- Cottage cheese - 7.1 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Vanillin - a pinch
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the margarine, let it cool, add the other ingredients, and knead well.
Step 2
The dough should not stick to your hands. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 0.5 cm, cut out circles (I used a small teacup to cut them).
Step 3
Prepare the filling: mix 200 g of cottage cheese, 1 egg white, 2 tablespoons of sugar, a little vanillin, and 1 tablespoon of flour thoroughly.
Step 4
Place the filling on each circle, fold in half, pinch the edges, and brush with egg yolk.
Step 5
Bake in the oven at 482°F until golden brown for about 15–20 minutes.
