- Kefir - 13 fl oz
- Baking Soda - 0 oz
- Chicken Eggs - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Wheat Bran - 1.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Honey - 1.8 oz
- Salt - 0.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the kefir into a bowl and add 1/3 teaspoon of baking soda, mix and let it sit for about five minutes.

When the kefir becomes frothy, add the sugar and mix.
Step 3
Add the 3 eggs and whisk well.
Step 4
Next, add the bran. Pour in 50 grams of bran. Mix well with a whisk.

The mixture should not be too thick. Let it sit for about ten minutes for the bran to swell.

Add a pinch of salt.

Now add the flour, 300 grams. The mixture should become very thick. Mix well.
Step 8
Take the butter and honey. Melt them in the microwave at 600 watts for one minute. Combine the resulting mixture with the main batter.
Step 9
Then bake in an electric waffle maker. Place the batter into the preheated waffle maker. It will be a very thick mixture, use a tablespoon to scoop it. The batter rises well. Bake until golden brown. The time depends on the specifications of the waffle maker. This will yield a large plate of waffles, about 15 pieces.

Since the waffles are almost unsweetened, they are great served with butter, honey, etc.
